1. You must be 18 years of age or older to read or post any story that is rated Adult 18+. If we find out that an author is less than 18 and is posting Adult 18+ material, we will delete the author's account.

2. No flaming the authors, please. If you decide to review a story that you don't like, you're certainly allowed to give the author suggestions as to how you think they could improve both the story and their writing skills. But saying something like, "You suck, you're the worst writer on the face of the Earth, and you're a waste of skin," is most definitely crossing the line. The administrators of this website reserve the right to delete any reviews that we judge, in our sole discretion, as crossing the line.

3. By signing up at the World of Slash, you agree to abide by the following regulations.

A) Abide by the Submission Guidelines of this site.
B) Honor the final decisions made by the staff.
C) Check for updates to the Terms of Service and Submission Rules.

4. Only create ONE account. If we find out that anyone has more than one account, ALL of their accounts will be deleted.

5. Do not assume that the stories posted on this site are in the public domain and are free for you to redistribute. ALWAYS contact the author of stories on this site and ask their permission before posting any story on this site anywhere else.

6. If you are an author, and for some reason you find yourself in legal troubles because of a story that you post here, you agree to hold both World of Slash and it's staff completely blameless.

7. Authors are expected to keep copies of their works in their personal files. The World of Slash website and it's staff assume no responsbility for any stories that are lost or damaged due to server problems, human error, or any other means. You, as the author, are responsible for your stories and while World of Slash is here to display your works, we are not here to store them for you. So, don't think that you can post your works here and then delete them from your hard drive.

8. The World of Slash provides a free medium for you to post and read fan fiction and original fiction. Access to the World Wide Web is required. We make no guarantees.

9. This site is run by volunteers and as such we cannot guarantee that someone will always be available to moderate and administer to the site. If you see a problem that seems to have slipped under our radar, please contact us.

10. The staff of this website reserves the right to remove any material that we deem inappropriate or offensive, at any time, without notice.

11. World of Slash will act ruthlessly upon receipt of proof of plagiarism by any author, whose stories will immediately be deleted and their account suspended permanently. Such action is also applicable to any person (author or reviewer) that harrasses any member, uploads offensive/inappropiate material, or interferes with the running of this website.

12. All usernames must be appropriate for all ages. So, please do not create usernames that include swear words or sexually explicit terminology.

13. The staff of this website reserves the right to add to and ammend these Terms of Service at any time and without notice. We will try to post a message in the news section whenever changes are made, however, it is your responsibility as a user of this site to check these Terms of Service periodically for any changes.

Failure to comply with the Terms of Service is grounds for immediate deletion of your account and we reserve the right to do this without notice.
